Trainers have known for years that women’s knees are more susceptible to injury than men’s knees, but no one made a concerted effort to do anything about it. Now comes a carefully chosen series of strengthening exercises, part of program described in The American Journal of Sports Medicine, that is aimed straight at a reduction of painful and healing intensive ACL tears.
