Got a problem that requires creativity? Have a drink and think about it. Then have another drink. The booze, according to research conducted at the University of Illinois at Chicago, should boost your creative problem solving. The Coloradoan reports on the research, which found that with an alcohol blood level of .o7, ( two to three drinks for a 160 pound male) people were better at solving creative problems than they were before they had the drinks. The researchers found that alcohol helped people access remote ideas, ideas that develop through association, not linear analysis.
