Loved ones remain skeptical, but now there’s evidence that the popularity of the game described by Forbes as the healthiest sport in the world may be inching up a notch or two. The New York Times reports that in 2006, 175 new squash courts will be built in the U.S., adding to the 3,475 that are already with us. That factoid, along with one or two others, serves as an adequate introduction to a nifty slide show of the latest and most expensive crop of squash equipment. A link to slide show can be found on this page. Ignore the prices. No one buys this stuff retail anymore.
