Like the vast majority of people who have heard the adage, Geezer cannot for the life of him recall if he is supposed to starve a cold and feed a fever, or feed a cold and starve a fever. So he was pleased to see that a reader of the New York Times had asked that journal’s health answer man to straighten us all out, once and for all. The answer, according to Anahad O’Connor, is that it doesn’t matter: neither action works.
