Can Exercise Enhance Vaccines?

The New York Times reports on the study, who results are in sync with several others, and points out that, while 90 minutes of exercise produced a statistically significant increase in antibodies, 45 minutes of exercise did not. Much research has shown that, in general, exercise pumps up our immune systems, but how much exercise and how much of a boost has been harder to determine. This study, by researchers at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, revealed the benefit of longer workouts, even for mice. Read more in the New York Times.
