Just remember this: a Mediterranean diet (lots of fish, olive oil and other foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids) may help you remember everything else. HealthDay reports on a nationwide study of more than 17,000 people, average age 64, who were queried about their eating habits and given tests that measured their memory and thinking skills for a period of four years. Those who followed the Mediterranean diet were found to be 19 percent less likely to develop thinking and memory problems. Read an abstract of the study here.
