Warning: Exercise May Result In Orgasm

There has been more discouraging advice about unexpected consequences of physical exercise. The latest counsel comes from researchers at the Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University’s School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation, who surveyed 124 women who claimed to experience exercise-induced orgasms, and 246 women who experienced exercise-induced sexual pleasure. HealthDay reports on the research, which found that 40 percent of the women who had the surprising pleasure on more than 10 occasions.  Twenty percent said they could not control the orgasm. Readers are advised to look carefully and their abs and consider the possibility that they may need work: 51 percent of the orgasms were associated with abdominal exercises, 27 percent involved weight lifting, 20 percent yoga, 16 percent bicycling, 13 percent running, and 10 percent walking or hiking.
