Here’s what you from outside exercise that you don’t get from working out in a gym: “Greater feelings of revitalisation, increased energy and positive engagement, together with decreases in tension, confusion, anger and depression.” Wait, there’s more: “greater enjoyment and satisfaction with outdoor activity and stated that they were more likely to repeat the activity at a later date.”
This less than surprising news comes from researchers at the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in Plymouth, England, who analysed data from 11 trials involving 833 adults that compared the effects of outdoor exercise initiatives with those conducted indoors.

WOW!Will wonders ever cease? Its a wonder that this got printed!(Hint:Your Head?): Does anyone understand that?
Perhaps, but indoor exercise is certainly better than no exercise. And the scenery in an indoor pool can sometimes be refreshing.
Maybe in the pool you hang out in. 🙂
If you are truly working out in an indoor pool, the only scenery being enjoyed would be the side wall, roof, and bottom of the pool. Not my idea of good scenery.
