The CDC has been enormously active laltely, mapping the places in the U.S. where residents are most active and least active. And the winners are: California, Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington. Couch potato land, on the other hand, is found in Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. Web MD reports that In those states, physical inactivity rates are 29.2 percent or greater for more than 70 percent of counties. The CDC reports that a 2008 survey found that more than a quarter of adults in the U.S. failed to spend any free time being physically active, which includes walking, gardening, golfing, or running. Another great list to be on. We like our couches and fried chicken!
It doesn’t get much Stupider than this! What is the CDC ??? And how did they come up with this??? Where did they get their info?? I’m not very impressed.
Bill,
I’m with you. Anything the CDC is involved with always has a political intent!!
Mark from Steelerland
what is their political intent?
Yes Mark and Bill, this is obviously another devious attempt to accurately portray factual information with political intent. Down with the CDC! Fat lazy people don’t need a government! Why does the government care if its people are disgusting fat sacks; oh yeah we need to a population that actually can qualify for military service.
