In the latest revelation from the annual meeting of the Gerontological Society of America in Boston, researchers have reported that boomers who have more sex appear to have happier marriages than those who have less sex, and older people who have more sex say they are happier with life in general than people who have less sex. That news stems from an analysis of the responses of 238 married people 65 and older who took part in the 2004 General Social Surveys. The survey revealed that nearly 60 percent of those who had sex more than once a month were very happy with life in general, compared with 40 percent of those who had no sex in the last year.Wait, there’s more: Nearly 80 percent of those who had sex more than once a month were very happy with their marriage, compared with 59 percent of those who had no sex in the last year.
