Napping Lowers Blood Pressure, And There’s No Co-Pay

Worried about high blood pressure? Take a nap. That's the advice of researchers at Allegheny College, who divided 85 healthy college students into two groups and gave one group the chance to nap for up to an hour after taking a mental stress test in the lab. PhysOrg reports that the researchers found that daytime naps seemed to rejuvenate the students who were able to sleep, and that the nappers had much lower blood pressure readings on average than those who didn't sleep.
