Ibuprofen Cuts Parkinson’s Risk 38 Percent

Ibuprofen, known to many amateur athletes as "vitamin I," has been shown to lower the risk of Parkinson's disease by one-third. The Harvard School of Public Health reports that researchers analyzed data from nearly 99,000 women and over 37,000 men, and found that over six years, those who used ibuprofen two or more times per week were about 38 percent less likely to develop Parkinson’s disease than those who regularly used aspirin, acetaminophen, or other NSAIDs.

Ibuprofen also appears to build muscle.
