How exactly is coffee good for us? In this interactive graphic, researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health explain the beverage's beneficial influence on diabetes, liver cancer and cirrhosis, gallstones, heart disease and Parkinson's disease. Plus, in a failed effort to present a balanced scorecard, they include another infographic depicting coffee's two downsides.
On one report its GOOD FOR YOU! Next report its BAD FOR YOU! Back and forth,Back and forth! Around and around we go! I wonder who?is paying for this report. Either it is? are either its not? Here’s what I think:
Caffeine is a pancreatic stimulant. I was told that your pancreas will only put out so much insulin in a lifetime and then will just give up if over worked, hence Diabetes. Why would people ignore the fact that everyday coffee drinking contributes to overworking the pancreas, pushing it to it’s inevitable end?
I say it’s bad for you. Good for the economy but bad for your body. Nuff said!
You were told that the pancreas can only produce so much insulin during a lifetime. Who told you that? Some green tea advocate? If you dig for research about caffeine it always turns up conflicting results. Your claim of a definite end to the production of insulin and caffeine being a pancreatic stimulant is really new news.
Most of my family are diabetic and I feel likely to be one.. How could I avoid not passing this hereditary thing to my kids?
