Consumer Reports’ Best Drugs For Heartburn, High Cholesterol, And Pain

It’s confusing, but the Washington Post reports on Consumer Reports advice to those want relief from heartburn, pain, and high cholesterol. As the Post reports, CR finds that newer drugs are often no safer or more effective than older medications that cost a fraction of the price. Using research from experts at the Drug Effectiveness Review Project, which is based at Oregon Health & Science University, CR has come up with a list of Consumer Reports Best Buy Drugs.

Heartburn

• Generic omeprazole.

• Prevacid 24HR.

• Prilosec OTC.

High cholesterol

  1. Really good news that these drugs are available for these kind of medical problems. I really happy from your suggestion. I recommend them who are looking for these kinds of drugs.

  2. Well, for heartburn, I’d suggest organic, unfiltered, unpasteurized, apple cider vinegar. On a salad if you prefer. For high cholesterol, a diet void of any processed, packaged food. Full of veggies and fruits. As close to raw as you can get. And amp up the exercise to increase the LDL. And for the pain, spa’s, sauna’s, and massage’s, as well as the right exercise to target the problem area’s. Of course mind control is paramount, since pain is only in the brain. No drugs for me! These drugs will make you very unhealthy! Then you will need more drugs for other stuff. HINT HINT!!!

The VERY best for high cholestrol is: Non-Flush Niacin, Red Yeast Rice, CO-Q 10, Omega 3 Fish Oil. I have had high cholestrol for most of my life. It was not until my best friend told me about these supplements that my cholestrol was normal for the first time. Do not take the prescribed medicines as they have many side effects and can cause other problems.

Be very careful about takeing omeprazole or prilosec. They are prett much the same meds. I was takeing it for acid reflux and it worked great, the problem was i was also takeing plavix to prevent blood clots in my stints. the omeprazole kept the plavix from working and I had a heart attack. I now have 5 stints, take plavix daily. I’m on zantac and it sucks. I had a “bloodymary” today and my guts are on fire. Always check for drug interaction.
