We always said that Older was Wiser, but never said wiser than what. Now Swedish researchers have put some science behind the claim, if the inferior cohort is elders of a previous generation. The Scientiic American reports on a Swedish study published in Neurology that measured the intelligence a group of people born in 1901 and 1902 and tested in 1971 and another group born in 1930 and tested in 2000. The researchers found that newer crop of 70-year-olds performed far better than the previous generation did.
