High Earning Women Want Older Men

Good news, at long last, for older men, at least for attractive older men. Research conducted at the University of Abertay in Dundee, Scotland suggests that as women become more financially secure, their preference in mates moves from men with money to men with good looks and, yes, a few years on them. A university news release reports that the online study analyzed the preferences of 3770 men and women, who ranked a series of criteria such as physical attraction, financial prospects and sense of humour in order of importance, with these results matched against their income and financial independence. The researchers, who had assumed that as women earn more, their partner preferences would become more like those of men, with a tendency towards preferring younger, more attractive partners, found something else: more financially independent women actually preferred even older men.
