Happiness Is Good for Your Heart

Do happy people have healthier hearts, or do healthier hearts make people happier? Researchers at Columbia University would argue the case for the former. The Boston Globe reports that researchers at that school rated the happiness levels, on a scale of one to five, of more
than 1,700 adults in Canada with no heart problems in 1995. For every point on the happiness scale, people were 22 percent less likely to have a heart problem. Why? The researchers theorize that stress releases hormones that can damage heart muscle and cause blood vessels to open too wide, allowing plaque buildups to
break off and clog the arteries.

  1. for me is true happiness is good for heart.. but over happy not good,just balance not over happiness..
