Five Health Reasons to Get Outside in the Summer

This news from the Harvard Medical School: the surface of the earth is good for you. The latest issue of the Harvard Health Letter gives us five reasons why cavorting outside is good for our health.

1.Your vitamin D levels will rise.

2. You'll get more exercise.

3. You'll be happier (because light can elevate mood)

4. Your concentration will improve. (playing outside has been shown to help children with ADHD focus)

5. You may heal faster. (some studies indicate that natural light can relieve the pain of surgeries)

    In probably 95% or more of the homes in this Country, the air you breathe outside is of far better quality than the air you’ll breathe inside.
