In as little as 11 hours, a form of Chinese meditation known as Integrated Body-Mind Training (IBMT) can cause changes in brain connectivity, boosting efficiency in a part of the brain that helps a person regulate
behavior in accordance with their goals. A news release
from the University of Oregon reports that researchers at the school experimented with 45 students, 22 of whom received training in IBMT and 23 of whom were trained in other relaxation techniques. Using a magnetic resonance imaging device, the researchers examined the brains of the subjects, and found changes in the fibers connecting areas of the brain in those in the IBMT group, but not the control group. The changes were strongest in connections involving the anterior
cingulate, a brain area related to the ability to regulate emotions and
behavior. Deficits in activation of the anterior cingulate cortex have been
associated with attention deficit disorder, dementia, depression,
schizophrenia and many other disorders.

Have a GREAT DAY!! and may God Bless you if you will let Him? By Now!!!
His Holiness, the XIV Dalai Lama has, for many years, been co-sponsoring a program that involves Western scientist and monks so as to actually measure the effects of meditation and the discovered facts relating to the same are very interesting.
It is sincerely hoped that such will one day prove to be of benefit to those who may have suffered from any of the many forms of traumatic brain injury and/or diseases that effect the brain.

Bill C., you are still so certain that you are correct that you continue to make very rash assumptions forgetting that an assumption makes an “ass” out of “u”…
I do not get angry as such is nonbeneficial to others nor to myself.
may you awaken to enlightenment of the present moment.
