Beetroot Juice Makes All Exercise Easier

SportsGeezer readers with functioning memories no doubt recall that beetroot juice has been found to boost the endurance of serious cyclists by 16 percent. Now comes a study from the same team of researchers at the University of Exeter suggesting that beetroot juice can benefit all of us, not just serious athletes. PhysOrg.com reports that at study of beetroot juice and low intensity exercises and found that the natural beverage effectively reduced the effort it took to walk by 12 percent.
