How to Stop Snoring, or Better, Stop Someone Else from Snoring

It would be wrong to kill them, but there are several actions one can take in good conscience that might stop a spouse from snoring. You could, as is recommended in this piece in the L.A. Times, sew a tennis ball in the back of nightshirt of your partner, to keep him or her from sleeping on his back. You could try something called continuous positive airway pressure, or CPAP, which involves a machine that
blows air at a prescribed pressure into a patient’s nose, and is
traditionally prescribed for those who have obstructive sleep apnea. Or, as the L.A. Times suggests, you could find a surgeon who may be able to cure snoring
by removing excess tissue in the palate, tongue, throat or nasal
passages.
Read more solutions, and perhaps more than you want to know about causes of snoring, in the L.A. Times.

  1. Many people (over the 55 %) don’t even know if they snore. It is even worse when we look for Sleep Apnea, or OSA (obstructive sleep apnea). So it is really important to know if we suffer from Sleep Apnea or not. When we do snore from time to time,.. it is good possible that we do suffer from a Sleep Apnea, while we don’t know.
