Finnish Study on Erections: Use It or Lose It

The Los Angeles Times kindly reports on a Finnish study of 1,000 men whose hall-of-mirrors like revelation is that men who have more sex have fewer problems having sex. Why is Geezer not surprised? The Times reports that researchers with the Tampere Male Urological Study in Finland first
sent questionnaires to men ages 50 to 75, inquiring as to the quality
of their erections and the frequency of their intercourse. Five years later, they tracked
down the men again and asked about their general health — including
any erection problems that had developed since the first questionnaire.The envelope please….
Having sex once a week
halved men’s chances of developing erectile dysfunction, compared with
a less-than-once-a-week schedule. The study, published July in the American Journal of Medicine, also hinted that the more
often men had sex, the better they fared.
