Shield Foundation, has decided to create "an evidence- and
science-based measurement of the state of health and fitness at the
community level throughout the U.S. Communities." Whatev. Looks harmless enough. And the winning cities are:
1. San Francisco
2. Seattle
3. Boston
4. Washington D.C.
5. Atlanta

Actually, this is a pilot study of 16 of the largest US cities, so it doesn’t include Denver or San Diego, which looking at their criteria, would have ranked in the upper part.
