Geezer votes for squash, the game he dare not name in his own home, because it has too often called him away from what some in his household consider basic parental responsibilities. Whatev. Now comes the L.A Times with a story that seems to appear in at least one major metropolitan newspaper once every three years. Squash is back. Squash is bigger than ever. Squash is winning the hearts of a new generation/demographic/gender. The Times asserts that, in the last two years, membership in the US Squash association has grown
nearly 20 percent, and participation in U.S. junior squash tournaments has
risen 40 percent. The association, the paper reports, sanctions hundreds of tournaments each year,
