For Female Fitness Gurus, 40 is Just the Beginning

Is it odd that so many of female fitness gurus, the DVD selling, crowd gathering mistresses of the hard body, are on the far side of 40? The New York Times thinks so, and consequently dispatched writer Abby Ellin to examine the phenomenon. What do we learn? In Geezer’s opinion, that sex will always sell, and that the torch that was lit by Jane Fonda in 1982 is burning more brightly than ever, and is now carried by people like  Leslie Sansone, 45, and Cathe Friedrich, 43, and Jari Love, 42, whose moves can be seen on a video linked to the Times piece.
