One thing about caffeine that is seldom mentioned is its diuretic effect.As a 65+ year old male with the typical urinary problems associated with males my urologist was pushing for drug therapy. Being a ornery contrarian and loathe to taking drugs needlessly I reduced my caffeine intake to less than half and after about 1 week i realized a dramatic improvement in the “going” problem. A perfect solution? No but an improvement none the less.The medical profession seeks remedies by adding conditions. I feel that before making additions it is wiser to first subtract as much as possible.
