Harvard Magazine has a lot to say about the benefits of exercise, likening it to a pill that regulates our appetite, changes eating habits so that we prefer healthier foods, makes us test younger according to a variety of physiologic measures, increases our blood volume, helps us burn fats, stimulates our immune systems, and yes, improves erections. That’s the good news. The bad news is that 75 percent of population of the United States fails to meet even the minimum government recommendation for daily exercise: 30 minutes of walking or its equivalent.
