There’s a good reason why most mentally healthy people do not take pleasure in lifting weights: It’s boring. As this piece in Best Life reports, after age 24, men begin to lose muscle mass, and they lose it a little faster every year.  By the time men are 50, the piece advises, they can expect to lose one percent of their muscle every year, unless they start building it back.
