Core Conditioning: Triathlon Training Starts at the Center of Your Body

This short piece, brought to you by Enduro Training Systems, reminds us of the importance of strengthening the "core" muscles of our bodies, and advises that, contrary to popular belief, the core does not begin and end with the abdomen.  Core muscles include the upper and lower back, as well as muscles around the pelvis and shoulders. Core conditioning, Enduro says, provides stability, agility, balance and flexibility for the muscles that control the trunk and spine, and helps transfer maximum power to the arms and legs.
