What’s More Stressful, Home Or Work? Hint: It’s Not Work
The bad news? You can forget about guilt tripping your spouse by complaining about your stressful day at the office. Researchers at Penn State University are convinced that for both men and women, time spent at home is more stressful than time at work. Tech Times reports on the study, which measured the cortisol levels of 122 men and women from different walks of life and socio-economic backgrounds both on weekdays and on weekends. For most, the cortisol level was lower during the weekdays. Another revelation: Unlike men, women report that they are happier at work than at home. What’s that about?
