OK, the Netatmo June Bluetooth bracelet doesn’t really prevent sunburn, but it does tell you when you’ve had enough sun to cause sunburn. The Wall Street Journal reports on the elegant protective bracelet, which sells for $99, and whose UV tracking jewel instructs your iPhone to advise you of potentially dangerous UV rays. It does this, according to the Journal, by suggesting that you put on your hat, sunscreen, or sunglasses, and by displaying your maximum daily sun dosage. The bad news? The Journal reports that the Netatmo often dropped their Bluetooth connections to the iPhone, and curiously, isn’t waterproof, making it much less than perfect beachwear.
