In one of the more credible ratings of the health of pimageseople in American cities, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), with support from the WellPoint Foundation, presents its 2014 AFI data report, “Health and Community Fitness Status of the 50 Largest Metropolitan Areas.” How do they do it? The college says the ratings reflect a composite of preventive health behaviors, levels of chronic disease conditions, and community resources and policies that support physical activity in each of the cities.
